When I met with Michelle and Ross, I was so drawn to how down to earth and in love they are. While I am so excited for their wedding in August 2017, I couldn’t wait for their engagement session! We settled on June 2016, which coincidently aligned with their 10 year anniversary.
…but seriously, she is! I have been lucky to know Michelle since high school and not only is she spontaneous and free she is also one of the kindest souls out there. She thought she injured a frog during our shoot and she was really sad about it …The froggy was fine! PHEW!
Their goal for their wedding and for their engagement session was to keep it as natural as possible. Michelle and Ross were SO nervous about their shoot (like to the point where she drank some vodka and brought a bottle of wine…when she’s typically not a drinker). All nerves aside these two wrapped up into each other so naturally and soon forgot the camera was with us.
We chose to shoot their engagement session at the Mono Cliffs Park in Orangeville Ontario close to where they bought their first home and to fufiill their goal of keeping the wedding planning as local as possible. Surrounded my trees and ferns, I’d say it was the perfect choice!
Ross & Michelle, thank you for having me along on this journey with you. I’m going to cry at your wedding..I can feel it already.
Let's be friends and send each other love in the form of likes and emojis.
