My life revolves around storytelling.
I was once referred to as "that photographer with all the kids" and that's me! As a mom of three, when I'm not photographing people in love I can be found barefoot in our backyard in the country playing with my little people and renovating our vintage airstream trailer. I believe in living slow, loving hard and laughing often.

I believe that those small quiet moments are equally as important as the big loud ones. My goal while shooting your wedding is to document your story as it unfolds. I want my couples to look back on their photos and relive their day through a beautifully curated story that is a reflection of not just what happened, but more importantly, how it felt. I maintain a fly on the wall approach, stepping in only when necessary for assistance.
I'm Alana! I am a fine art photographer based in Caledon, Ontario. 1486 Photography is proudly located inside the beautiful Alton Mill Art Gallery. I approach every wedding and portrait session like family and I am equally invested as your best friend in ensuring every little detail is just right. My approach is heavily focused on storytelling while capturing moments, big and small.
